Sound like a crazy concept? Not really! Let me explain...

Vacations, Recreation, Relaxation, and Restoration

Don't get me wrong. It's not like I have never taken a trip in my life or anything! I've had the opportunity to go lots of places, see lots of things, and experience loads of good times, and...

I love the feelings that those travels and experiences bring into my life and how they enrich me as a person, not only while I am away on some new adventure, but also when I get back to the rough and tumble, real world of my daily life, in the form of fond memories and the feeling that I have been restored within and can better focus on the daily tasks that used to get me down!

In short, and as most "experts" would say...Trips and time away from our "daily grind" are just darn good therapy for the mind, soul, and body!

Make Travel Therapy Last

But...I simply do not have the money, off-time, or resources to have these awesome "travel therapy" sessions all the time and I find that I need that kind of recharging more often than I can personally support, so what can I do?

The answer...for me...is this website!

That's right! I started to think deeply, trying to find a way that I could make this kind of "happy trails" dream last...and I realized that I have been a "dreamer" all of my life. If I could only find a way to channel those dreams into...

Yes! That's it! I love to look at vacation photos, watch vacation videos, watch adventures on The Travel Channel, and read about the exciting travel experiences people have, whether I know them or not!

And I also like to write, plan trips, and tell about my own travel experiences and dream holidays away from it all! I'll vacation vicariously by building a site that shares, not only, my dreams and aspirations of traveling fun, but the actual and imaginative adventures of others!

Helping Others Through Vicarious Travel

Then, I began thinking that this kind of site could really be a big help to others across the world!

I figure this site would be a help to...

• Other "dreamers" like me
• People whose finances prevent them from traveling
• People whose health or handicaps prevent them from vacationing
• People whose family needs prevent them from taking their dream trips
• People who have actually "been there, done that" and want to share their stories
• People who want to share and preserve their holiday / vacation experiences for their posterity
• People who long to have their travel stories, photos, and videos published, but don't know where to go to get it done

Share and Share Alike

So, I'll also be inviting you to share your travel stories, photos, and even videos with me and my website visitors!

Virtually everybody I've met loves to tell people about their own experiences! Why not put those "bragging rights" to use helping others by sharing it here?

What's that? You don't think it will be much help to people?

Well, I'm telling you right now that it will help me 100% because I love to read about places I have never been, what can be done there, and how much fun other people have had! For me, it really is good therapy!
